Our Divisions
The CNRDPA is organized into four research divisions
The aquaculture division is responsible for conducting a research programme that contributes to the sustainable development of marine and inland aquaculture while preserving the environment and the resource. Its main missions are the development of water resources, the evaluation and management of aquaculture resources and the reproduction of species of aquaculture interest.

Its main mission is the evaluation of fisheries resources with the aim of ensuring their rational and sustainable management. It also works for the development of fisheries techniques and technologies.

Is a transversal division, which is particularly interested in the knowledge of marine and continental aquatic ecosystems, notably through the study of environment-resource interactions. Aquatic environments are changing, poorly understood and subject to strong pressures of exploitation (fishing and aquaculture) or degradation (pollution, etc.).

Its mission is to develop and improve techniques for the valorization of fishery and aquaculture products and co-products. It is also called upon to develop and improve artificial feeds for aquaculture farms.
